You are invited
to share your projects, research and presentations with the
audience at the 1st Connecticut Conference on Natural Resources. The
conference is organized around multi-disciplinary themes that
represent current natural resource/environmental issues facing
Connecticut. Please review the themes and consider how
your presentation fits when submitting an abstract.
Presentations are called for in the following themes:
THEME 1: Connecticut’s
Coastal Connections-conservation threats and opportunities

Hypoxia, Coastal Erosion, Coastal Plant and Animal Species

THEME 2: Invasive Species and Emerging

THEME 3: Connecticut’s
Changing Landscape

Open Space Conservation, Value of Forests Related to Water
Supply and Quality, Contribution of Forests to Connecticut’s
Economy, Biomass Power and Related Topics
You may submit for one of the following formats:
- A 20 minute presentation which will be scheduled with related
presentations in the same theme
- A poster display
- A 1.5 hour workshop or activity that features audience
participation
Abstracts are restricted to 250 words and must be emailed
to: ccnr2007@gmail.com
In the subject line
of the email please write: “CCNR
Abstract Submission”
In the body of the email include in this order:
- Presenter’s
name and affiliation
- Presenter’s
address, phone, and email
- Co-authors and affiliations as needed
- Presentation title (60 character limit, including spaces)
- Indicate preference for a 20 min presentation, poster display,
or 1.5 hour workshop
- 250 word abstract
- Indicate the theme most appropriate for this presentation
